Streets that climb toward the mountains
Above Foothill Blvd, the north-south streets keep climbing until they run out at the foothills. Up there, driveways get steep, some houses sit well above the curb with a long run of steps to the door, and parking on a slope takes some care. It's a nice place to live and a real carry with a 7 foot fir.

It's also where the 10 mile line comes into play. Most of La Crescenta is around 9 driving miles from the lot, but the highest foothill streets can pass 10, and past 10 we quote the delivery instead of using the tier price. Dana checks the mileage for your address when you order, so you know which applies before anything is paid.
On a steep lot, setup is worth a look. A fresh-cut tree is heavy, and hauling one up a sloped driveway and a flight of steps is easier when it isn't your back doing it. Stairs and tight access add a small extra charge, always quoted up front. Once the tree is inside, it goes into the stand, gets straightened and watered, and the needles get swept up.
