What does delivery cost at a Glendale address?

Glendale is a long city, and our price follows driving miles from the lot, not your ZIP code. South and central Glendale fall inside the first 5 miles: Tropico, Adams Hill, Pelanconi, downtown along Brand Blvd, Rossmoyne, and north on Verdugo Rd as far as Verdugo Woodlands. Those addresses pay $98 to have the tree dropped off at the door, or $198 for us to carry it inside and set it up.

North Glendale is where the number changes. Sparr Heights is about 5.9 driving miles out and Montrose is about 6.3, so homes up there usually land in the 5 to 10 mile tier: $148 for drop-off or $248 with setup. A handful of streets sit close to the line, which is why we confirm the exact driving miles when you order.

Delivery is one price per order. The tree is priced separately (Dana sends the price with the photos), a stand is optional at $40, $55 or $70 depending on the tree's height, and stairs or a tree over 7 ft can add a small extra that's quoted before you pay. Apartments and condos around downtown and Brand

A lot of Glendale lives in apartments. Around downtown there are newer mid-rise buildings with elevators, lobbies and garages, and across south Glendale there are older two-story walk-ups and courtyard buildings. A tree fits in all of them. What helps is knowing the details ahead of time, so tell Dana your floor, if there's an elevator, and how the building's entry works.

Parking near Brand gets tight in December, with shoppers headed to the Americana at Brand and the Galleria. If your building has a loading zone or a spot out front where the van can stop for a few minutes, let us know when you order. Hanniel texts when the crew is on the way, so you have time to come down or buzz us in.

No elevator? Stairs are a small extra charge, quoted before you pay. Drop-off is the cheaper option if you're fine putting the tree in the stand yourself. Setup makes more sense when the alternative is wrestling a 6 ft fir up a stairwell: we protect the floor, put the tree in its stand, get it straight, add water and sweep up the needles.

Hillside streets in Adams Hill and the canyons

The hills start close to the lot. Adams Hill rises a short drive east of us, and Chevy Chase Canyon and Glenoaks Canyon wind up into the hills on the east side of the city. These are curving streets with steep driveways, and front doors that often sit up a flight of steps from the curb.

None of that rules out a delivery. It just changes the plan a little. Tell Dana about the steps, a long driveway, or a street too narrow for the van to turn around, and she'll quote any extra before you pay. That way the crew knows what they're walking into before they get there.

Canyon homes also tend to catch strong afternoon sun and the dry winds that come off the hills in fall and winter. A tree up there drinks more. Put it away from west-facing glass, fill the stand the day it arrives, and check it every morning, especially the first week.

Spanish revival rooms in Rossmoyne and the north side

Rossmoyne and the streets around it are known for 1920s and 1930s period homes: Spanish revival with arched windows, Tudor cottages, and some living rooms with tall, beamed ceilings. Verdugo Woodlands, up along Cañada Blvd, has older houses under big oaks. Rooms like these can take more tree than a downtown apartment can.

A Noble fir is the pick for a high ceiling and heavy glass ornaments. Its branches are stiff and layered with space between them, so ornaments hang free instead of drooping.
